Leinster House

The concept for the high spec and technically innovative building was to provide a welcoming and security pavilion, that would allow staff to securely greet and assess the growing volumn of visitors with business in Leinster House. The OPW chose a glass clad building, supported on a delicate stainless steel structure. The priorities were to minimally impact on views of Leinster House, while maintaining the century old trees that adorn the entrance.

The building makes use of low iron glass, reclaimed timbers, with Connemara marble work surfaces to achieve a light and airy building that achieves functionality and grace.
