Mountjoy Prison Medical Facility

A 4,474 medical Building, incorporating dentistry, x-ray rooms, consultation rooms and treatment rooms for all the Prisons immiditate medical requirements. The construction technique used was Modular System Build. Using this method we could ensure delivery of a high quality building, built predominately off site to minimise disruption to the management of the Prison.

The Medical project was constructed on a confined site within the Prison Walls. Construction of the building was major logistical challenge for the Construction Team, as the building location was constructed within a live prison environment, including connections to the existing building. All this was completed whilst ovserving the Prison Services security working procedures.
